Core Technology of High-Pressure Water Tank: The Precise Revolution of Fully Automatic Welding

Topic 2: Core Technology of High-Pressure Water Tank: The Precise Revolution of Fully Automatic Welding
In the manufacturing of high-pressure water tanks, the welding process directly determines the safety and lifespan of the product. Hengrui has introduced an internationally advanced fully automatic welding system to achieve intelligent control throughout the entire process of straight seam welding and circumferential seam welding:
Straight Seam Welding: The Safety Philosophy Within the Lines
The welding trolley is driven by a servo motor, which moves automatically along the seam of the sheet. Combined with the pulse argon arc welding technology, the current and welding speed are intelligently adjusted according to the thickness of the 304/316L sheet. The weld seam is uniform and smooth. After non-destructive testing, the pass rate reaches 99.8%. Compared with traditional manual welding, the efficiency has been increased by 4 times, and it avoids potential problems such as false welding and pores caused by human operation.
Ring seam welding: 360° flawless sealing force
For the annular joint between the water tank cylinder and the head, a CNC turntable combined with a welding robotic arm is used to achieve 360° uniform rotation welding. During the welding process, the molten pool temperature and weld width are monitored in real time, and parameters are automatically corrected to ensure consistent strength of the annular joint. Taking a 1.5mm thick 304 steel plate as an example, the pressure resistance strength of the annular joint after welding can reach 6MPa, far exceeding the industry standard of 4MPa for automotive high-pressure water tanks.

Technical advantages: Dual improvement in efficiency and quality
Precision controllable: Weld seam error ≤ 0.5mm, surface roughness Ra ≤ 1.6μm;
High stability: The welding parameters of products from the same batch are consistent at 99%.
Energy conservation and consumption reduction: Automated welding reduces energy consumption by 30% compared to manual operation, and the material utilization rate is increased to 95%.
This technology ensures the sealing performance of the water tank under high pressure and vibration conditions.
